Hudson Landing Schedules Ribbon-Cutting

A ribbon-cutting ceremony announcing the opening of the construction road that will serve the Hudson Valley’s newest community, Hudson Landing, has been scheduled for Thursday,  October 21.  Representatives of AVR Realty of Yonkers will be joined by City, County and State officials to celebrate the start of this river front mixed use development that was first proposed in 2002.

“We’ve waited a long time for this moment. At last, shovels are getting in the ground.” said Kingston Mayor James Sottile.  Mayor Sottile, along with Town of Ulster Supervisor James Quigley and County Executive Michael Hein will join AVR for the official kick-off of this mixed use community on the Hudson River.

Approval for the grading work on the roads that will handle the construction equipment was given unanimous approval by the City of Kingston’s Planning Board in May.

Hudson Landing is a vibrant, mixed use community that will be built on the former situated Tilcon property in the Town of Ulster, City of Kingston.  The site features spectacular water views and over one mile of frontage on the Hudson River. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the entrance of Hudson Landing Boulevard off Rt. 32.
