Sep 24 Charles Eggert: 1960s Rondout Photographs

Presentation and discussion of Eggert's Rondout photographs taken while seeking historic preservation for buildings slated for the infamous wave of "urban renewal" that decimated Kingston's Lower Broadway corridor. Eggert was a widely-respected conservationist who made award winning documentaries and photographs for Stuart Udall, US Secretary of the Interior (1961 - 1969).
