Jun 30 A Chorus Line

Summer 2011 marks the grand re-opening of the newly renovated, fully enclosed, Woodstock Playhouse beginning with the singular sensation, A Chorus Line. As performers audition for a spot in the next chorus line, they reveal the humorous and touching events that shaped their lives as dancers. Performances Thursday - Saturday at 8pm, and Sunday at 2pm; through July 10. Woodstock Playhouse, 103 Mill Hill Rd., Woodstock NY 12498.

Jun 28 Mohonk Preserve: Toddlers on the Trail - What's Blooming?

Join Dana Rudikoff, Volunteer Hike Leader, and explore the forest searching for Mountain Laurel and wildflowers. Bring water and snacks. Please leave your pets at home. Jogging strollers are not appropriate; Children ages 2 to 6 are welcome. Program includes a 1.5-mile hike, and moves at a toddler's pace. Reservations are required. Jun 25 Hudson Valley Artists 2011: Exercises in Unnecessary Beauty

The Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art holds an opening reception this new exhibition. Jun 25 Walk the Huguenot Path: An Exploration of the Harcourt Preserve

Enjoy a healthy snack and an introduction at the DuBois Fort Visitor Center and then head off on a guided walk through the marshlands and oxbow lake of the Harcourt Nature Preserve. Easy 1 to 1.5 hour hike explores the special topography and history of this largely unknown area. Culminates with visit to the site of the Wallkill River ferry landing and a tour of LeFevre House, site of Ezekiel Elting's store in the early 1800s.
